What types of bolts are generally divided into
1. Divided according to the connection force mode
There are different types of bolts for connecting forces, mainly divided into ordinary bolts and bolts for reaming holes.
2. Divided by head shape
There are also many head shapes of bolts, such as hexagonal head, square head, round head, and countersunk head, among which hexagonal head is relatively common.
3. According to the tooth shape of the thread
There are two main types of bolt threads: coarse and fine.
4. By performance Elo rating system
There are eight performance levels for bolts, namely 3.6, 4.8, 5.6, 5.8, 8.8, 9.8, 10.9, and 12.9. High strength bolts of low-carbon alloy steel are used for bolts above grade 8.8, while ordinary bolts are used for bolts below grade 8.8.
5. Classified by production accuracy
Bolts with different production accuracy are mainly divided into three levels: A, B, and C. A and B are refined bolts mainly used for lathe processing, with a general performance level of 8.8. C is rough bolts, with a performance level of only 4.8, mostly used for temporary fixation.

What is the difference between bolts, screws, and studs?
1. Different usage methods:
Bolts are widely used in mechanical manufacturing for detachable connections, usually paired with nuts (usually with one or two washers).
Screws are usually used separately (sometimes with washers), usually for fastening or tightening purposes, and should be screwed into the internal threads of the body.
Studs are often used to connect one of the connected components with a large thickness, which requires the use of compact structures or places where bolt connections are not suitable due to frequent disassembly. Usually, one end of the thread is firmly screwed into the body of the component, and the other end is matched with the nut for connection and fastening, but to a large extent, it also has a distance fixing function.
2. Different shapes:
A type of fastener consisting of a head and a screw (cylindrical body with external threads).
A type of fastener that has no head and only threads on both ends.
A type of fastener consisting of a head and a screw, with threads on both ends.

What are the types of bolts?
The classification of bolts includes:
1、 Bolts are divided into ordinary and hinged holes based on the force bearing method of the connection.
2、 Bolts are classified according to their head shape: hexagonal, round, square, countersunk, and so on.
3、 Threads are divided into two types based on length: full thread and non full thread.
4、 According to the tooth shape of the thread, it is divided into two types: coarse tooth and fine tooth, and the coarse tooth shape is not displayed in the marking of the bolt.
5、 According to the performance Elo rating system, bolts are divided into eight grades: 3.6, 4.8, 5.6, 6.8, 8.8, 9.8, 10.9 and 12.9. Among them, bolts above grade 8.8 (including grade 8.8) are made of low-carbon alloy steel or medium carbon steel and heat treated (quenched+tempered). They are generally called high-strength bolts, and bolts below grade 8.8 (excluding grade 8.8) are generally called ordinary bolts.
6、 Ordinary bolts can be divided into three grades according to their manufacturing accuracy: A, B, and C. Grade A and B are refined bolts, while Grade C is rough bolts.
